Regional Vice - President - North America

Towne & Locke is seeking an experienced Regional Vice President - North America to join our client’s growing team in Herndon, VA . This position offers a generous salary, compensation plan/bonus per year plus insurance benefits, 401K, paid time off etc.

​Direct and coordinate regional activities of departments such as operations, sales, and administration to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Job responsibilities:
  • Responsible for regional forecasting and achieving monthly and quarterly targets, sales plans.
  • Ensure the attainment of assigned sales targets by leading the sales process and providing direction and recommendations to improve sales.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership in the sales organization to create a "best in class" team.
  • Create key partnership and relationships with strategic channel partners, systems integrators and professional service organizations.
  • Leads in meeting client needs; meet with clients regularly, listens to issues, and provides technical expertise and solutions.
  • Coordinates all operating activities with all other functions of the organization to obtain optimum service
  • Create action plans around key problem areas and constraints
  • Directs and coordinates promotion of all products to develop new markets, increase the share of the market, and obtain competitive position in the industry
  • Reviews service and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, service, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent lost coverage
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures
  • Ability to understand and articulate the assist platform value
  • Able to directly relate strategies and products to customer needs
  • Understanding and planning based on the impact of future technology innovations and technology changes within the customer base.
  • Provide directions in the hiring, promotion and terminate of assigned staff.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record in business software application sales
  • Knowledge of ITSM market
  • Understanding of SaaS and advising clients on choosing deployment options (SaaS, Premise)
  • Experience in coordinating various departments which include Sales, Professional Service, HR, Administration etc
  • A resilient self-starter with high levels of motivation and drive – ability to use own initiative
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of IT Operations and buying cycle across all sectors
  • High degree of business awareness/industry knowledge
